PROJECTS
Our projects vary in scope and involvement. We strive to "fill-in" where the need for work arises. We strive to complete projects and raise their success rate, as much as we hope to initiate new ones. That is the true nature of restoration ecology.

  • Restoring Temescal creek in North Oakland Sports field, a community stewardship project with over 200 participants to date, including UC Berkeley students, CalTrans, City of Oakland, Sports4Kids, and local volunteers from the East Bay area.
  • Re-establishing native valley oaks on appropriate sites in the East Bay and Central Valley.
  • Exotic rides - a number of mountain biking rides that help abate small, remote, weed infestations.
  • Helping run community service projects that educate children about the evironment and retoring its function and beauty in the Bay Area.
  • Helping solidify the relationship between rock climbers and site stewards by restoring chosen, visible sites near climbing areas.
