We are excited to announce our 2018 Foundations in Restoration Course.

We had an absolutely dynamo class in 2017 who in addition to completing the classroom time, also contributed over 150 volunteer hours at local projects. We covered rare butterflies, wetlands, pond turtles, soils, grant-writing, permits and much more over the course of our classroom presentations. We expect to cover similar topics, but we have a new suite of instructors covering new topics. Although our list isn’t finalized, know you’ll get to spend 2 hours with some of the most knowledgeable, high-impact practitioners that the Bay Area has to offer. We’ll have at least 7 different instructors from all the various Kingdoms of Life.

We will have 12 spaces available for this engaging, discussion-minded eight week course. Class meets on Monday afternoons from 4:30-6:30pm beginning on Monday, February 26th.

Location: David Brower Center – 2150 Allston Way – 2nd Floor conference room

Applications will be reviewed on a first come first served basis until we reach a class size of 12 students. We do anticipate this class will fill up as we had more applicants than spaces last year. The course fee of $250 covers costs to instructors, facilities, and our operations. We are willing to negotiate the fee for those in need. (PS – Don’t forget to ask your employer to host you – it will be a great training program).
