2014 has been our most successful year ever! Service-based learning opportunities abounded throughout the Bay Area:
– Mission Blue butterfly larvae were spotted by knowledgeable stewards
– Living fascines were built with volunteer hands to reinforce areas of eroding soil
– Youth in Richmond experienced their first (rainy) taste of one of the Bay’s richest coastal grassland environments in their own backyard.
Our supporters have made this all happen with generous donations of time, ideas and money. Without you all we’d have half of our annual budget and we wouldn’t be able to restore, teach and guide at the same level. Here’s our annual report for 2014.
Thank you and happy holidays to all of you wonderful people.
